Industry-led, industry-funded and working for industry
The ECITB is funded by the industries we serve through a statutory training levy raised under powers in the Industrial Training Act. The levy is used to drive up skill levels, support employers and incentivise training that would otherwise not take place. It helps to share the cost of training more evenly between employers.
