Qualification summary
Based on National Occupational Standards (NOS), this Level 3 Diploma in Project Controls Practice and Techniques (RQF) teaches project control fundamentals and units on developing and scheduling practice and techniques, risk and opportunity management and more.
The objective of this vocational qualification is to provide recognition that a learner has demonstrated the required level of technical competence to work in project controls on projects in sectors such as engineering, manufacturing, construction, infrastructure, pharmaceuticals, utilities, transport and defence.

To achieve this qualification learners must complete all 12 mandatory units.
It takes the average candidate 1,850 hours to complete this qualification. This includes 870 hours of time with a teacher, trainer or assessor, the remaining hours are unsupervised time for learning and producing evidence to be assessed.
