This qualification is available for registrations from 1 July 2024.
Based on National Occupational Standards, this ECITB Diploma in Supporting the Installation of Engineering Construction Plant and Systems – Pipefitting at SCQF Level 5 includes units on contributing to effective working relationships in engineering construction, working with environmental sustainability in mind and more.
The ECITB Diploma in Supporting the Installation of Engineering Construction Plant and Systems – Pipefitting at SCQF Level 5 qualification is a work-based qualification. The qualification comprises both knowledge and competence.
The objectives of this qualification are to:
- Prepare learners for employment in supporting the installation of engineering construction plant and systems in the pipefitting industry.
- Support learners working in supporting the installation of engineering construction plant and systems in the pipefitting industry.
- Enable learners to progress to higher levels providing opportunities to move to supervisory and managerial roles.
