The ECITB has listened to calls from employers to make training more accessible during the current lockdown period.
As a temporary measure, we are now directly funding a range of training courses to support industry during the Covid-19 crisis.
With cash flow a major concern for many companies at the current time, this measure will help to overcome the financial constraints preventing employers from accessing training and will provide a welcome boost to training providers.
We are actively encouraging in-scope employers to consider online training options for their staff. There are places still available on the funded courses listed below and new courses in the pipeline so don’t miss out.
Chris Claydon, Chief Executive of the ECITB, said: “This is an extremely difficult time for many engineering construction employers and the ECITB is doing all we can to support ongoing training activities.
“We are directly funding training so employers can continue to train their workforce without having to pay upfront and reclaim grant payments. Not only will this help to ease some of the financial pressures on businesses, it will also ensure that important training continues during the current lockdown period.”
