What Scholarships are available?

There are a range of disciplines delivered by our network of training providers across the UK.  The scholarship pathways starting in Autumn 2024 are:

3t, Teesside – Rigging
CATCH, Immingham (Humberside), Pipefitting and Welding
East Coast College, Lowestoft (East coast) – Mechanical
Engineering College, Birkenhead (northwest), Pipefitting and Welding
Forth Valley College, Falkirk (Scotland central belt) – Pipefitting, Plating and Welding
North East Scotland College, Aberdeen (northeast Scotland), – Wind Turbine Technician
Pembrokeshire College, Pembroke (Wales), Fabrication and Welding

What does an ECITB Scholarship involve

 

  • Industrial skills and knowledge training for 3-5 days a week over one academic year
  • Online content – ECITB Digital Passport, clean energy technologies and behavioural based safety
  • ECITB Pre Employment Programme which includes:
  • CCNSG Safety Passport
  • Working safely with hand tools, power tools and equipment
  • Manual handling
  • Low risk confined space
  • Working at height
  • Abrasive wheels (handheld and bench mounted)

 

  • Regular meetings with employers looking for new talent
  • Work placements with engineering construction employers
