The ECITB launches its Project Data Analytics Academy on 28 April with a limited number of places still available.
Run by partners Projecting Success, the academy aims to help employers make better use of their project data and improve project delivery by teaching advanced data analytics tools and techniques.
Chris Claydon, Chief Executive of the ECITB, said: “As the industry’s leading authority on skills, the ECITB is always looking to prepare employers for the future.
“We know that engineering construction companies sit on a rich seam of data and a wealth of insights about how they could deliver projects differently.
“By supporting this initiative to introduce advanced data analytics tools and techniques we can help our companies use past project data to develop a ‘crystal ball’ to improve performance in future.”
A small number of places remain on the 4-month programme, which includes a mix of teaching, individual and a group projects. The training is available to all ECITB in-scope organisations and will require around 25 days of an employee’s time.
