Become an ECITB-Approved Training Provider
The ECITB approves training providers to deliver training and assessment for more than 80,000 learners each year.
Training providers are licensed by the ECITB to deliver:
- CCNSG Safety Passport scheme
- International Health and Safety Passport scheme
- Training standards
- Technical tests
- Supervisor and personal skills ECITB training courses
- Project control ECITB training courses

Adding trainers, examiners and training centre staff
If you wish to add additional trainers, examiners or additional centre staff please refer to the application criteria guide and the process flowchart below. If you meet this criteria, complete the application form ensuring you provide all the information requested and email it to:
ECITB approval for your training courses - Provider Course Approval Scheme (PCAS)
ECITB training standards set out the requirements our industry has requested for training and testing in a range of disciplines. If you have developed training to meet these requirements you can apply for ECITB approval of your course through the ECITB Provider Course Approval Scheme (PCAS). You must hold a valid ECITB-approved Training Standard Provider Licence to do this.
Application review timetable
ECITB reviews applications on rotation:
- Trainers / Examiners – 1st week in the month
- PCAS courses – 2nd week in the month
- Providers – 3rd week in the month
Training providers must submit their applications for approval a month in advance by Friday 3.30pm.
