The ECITB has received its Annual Priorities letter for the year ahead from its sponsor the Department for Education.

The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Children and Families, Michelle Donelan MP, has written to the ECITB’s Chair Lynda Armstrong OBE today (30th January) setting out the Government’s priorities for the year ahead.

The letter impresses the vital role played by the ECITB in equipping the industry’s workforce with technical skills required to deliver £600bn of critical infrastructure and energy projects.

It follows publication of the ECITB’s Business Plan earlier this month, which sets out a £90m programme of investment in the current and future skills need of the engineering construction industry.
